2025-2026 Hamilton County Harvest Food Bank Ambassador Program
August 1 - August 11
2025-2026 Hamilton County Harvest Food Bank Ambassador Program
Overview: The Hamilton County Harvest Ambassador Program (HCHAP) is an opportunity for Hamilton County high school students to be chosen as representatives of the Hamilton County Harvest Food Bank at their respective schools. Currently Noblesville High School, Carmel High School, and Fishers High School participate in the Ambassador program. We are expanding to additional schools in the county.
Responsibilities: Ambassadors organize 1 school food drive or fundraising activity, coordinate 1-3 school volunteer opportunities with the food bank, communicate with school clubs and teams about upcoming food bank events, and create social media posts to promote volunteer opportunities and food bank events.
Time Commitment: We ask that Ambassadors participate actively between the months of August – May. There is one meeting or activity (in-person or virtual) each month and the total commitment is 4/hours per month. HCHFB Ambassador Program 2025-2026 Key Dates
Benefits: As an Ambassador you will:
- Be presented with a certificate for your community service
- Receive a Letter of Recommendation for college (if desired)
- Make connections with other high schools
- Have an easier pathway to food bank internships and opportunities
Apply: Applications are open annually in August. Ambassador Application
Mission: High School students will help promote current Hamilton County Harvest Food Bank programs and create new ones, through the use of social media, networking, and team work with other Ambassadors.
The HCHAP is important to the food bank as a way to better connect with our schools in the county and to provide more volunteer opportunities within the schools and our community.
